WORSHIP the Lord in the beauty of holiness (Psalm 29:2)
We were created to worship and glorify God. God created us to be in a real relationship with Him, and the only true response to the magnitude of His love and mercy is an overflow of worship.
You might ask, what is worship?
According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, worship is the expression of our complete love and admiration for something or someone. In essence that means that we either worship God or we worship things that distract us from God.
Here at Cornerstone Fellowship, we choose to lay aside those distractions and focus our hearts completely on the God that created us.
WORSHIP Him in spirit & in truth (John 4:24)
Our goal is to promote an atmosphere of total worship. Many people believe that worship is solely based on music, and while music is a great avenue to worship God, worship is more than just a song.
Anything that we give all of our love to, all of our attention to, or all of our focus to is something that we are actively worshipping. Being focused on God allows us to begin to understand that worship is not just an action but that it truly is a lifestyle.
WORSHIP the Lord with gladness (Psalm 100:2)
Our worship ministry utilizes a praise choir, musicians, a production team, and a multimedia team. You might think, well I don't play an instrument, I can't sing, I'm not computer literate, so how can I be used? If you have a teachable spirit, then we can train you.
Your personal worship of God could also be found through our First Impressions Team as they greet people each Sunday. Perhaps God has given you a heart for helping people park their cars or with the logistical side of a Sunday gathering.
However God has gifted you in life is how He perfectly created you to offer that gift back to Him as your personal offering of worship. We sincerely ask you to pray and seek God as to how He could use you in reaching the world around you with the love of Jesus Christ.
